Marty- done that. I had a regular issue 1965 Kennedy in an ACG MS69 holder that crossed into PCGS MS66 SMS. The SMS part killed me. I really thought it was a business strike.
TRUTH: I went the Burnished route too, but it's a no go when you get a closer look. I don't really see the cleaning but also don't see any evidence of burnishing.
New-Mistrust-Corporation? Yeah, like I'd really TRUST their products. Sorry to hear about that Braddick, but thems the risks you take.

Always buying music cards of artists I like! PSA or raw! Esp want PSA 10s 1991 Musicards Marx, Elton, Bryan Adams, etc. And 92/93 Country Gold AJ, Clint Black, Tim McGraw PSA 10s
OK I still have alot to learn but cannot "cleaned" be an overdipped coin? or maybe dipped in the wrong solution? Something that affects the surface enough or so much that it is no longer original?
I took a chance awhile back on an MS-66 Long Island in a You-mistrust holder. I got it for 63 money and figured it had to be at least that. WRONG! It didn't take five seconds after removing it from the mailer to see that the surfaces were altered. Back it went.
