Title of thread: The gift of caring

A few weeks ago a small coin dealer's was broken into & robbed. The shop is owned by a husband & wife who have struggled to establish themselves in their community. They have a well deserved reputation for the ultimate in fairness & honesty in their dealings with their customers. - Small Business In Crisis - By:GDJMSP

I just got off the phone with Oakel Hardy and here is what he had to say.

1 - They are back in business and will continue to conduct business.

2 - They are thankful for the monetary gifts but have no further need for them.

3 – They did not lose or have any damaged equipment – so they are set there as well.

4 - They are looking for any open invoices (which they will sell or send back what they do not sell), which anyone can send them. He is looking for Morgan’s, Peace, Type coins, Walkers, or Mercury Dimes.

I sent several proof sets from the early '60's, some slabbed pennies, dimes and few other misc. items with just a note that I hope this will help.
No return is necessary on my part, I'm just glad he is up and running again!
