Triple Die Obverse 1942 Mercury

I picked this coin up in an estate I purchased and when looking at it noticed that the profile looked somewhat thicker, like she had a fat lip. This looks like a triple die to me ??

What does everyone else think ?

Most likely machine doubling, but not enough of the rest of the coin is visible to tell. If only the outer edge of the profile is doubled then it's machine doubling.

Looks like very common Machine Doubling. Many Mercs are seen like this. Take a look at the date also. Bet you see something there also.

There is not any abnormalities to the date. The doubling/tripling around the face is all the way around the head, but there is no doubling in the date or the LIBERTY.
