    Ken,

    I like them all. Bottom ones look better.

    The 17's look to be different styles.

    I like the top '17 better. Seems to be cleaner, better struck, and with better luster.

    The two '23's I'd have to see in person, side by side. Even then, I imagine the choice would be tough as they are both pretty awesome lookin'!

    personally, I like the top two better, nice eye appeal, but you gotta admit more detail 'n all with the bottom two, sometimes you may not want to see whats going on so well image

    Am I the only one here who thinks the coins are the same, and the photos are just different?

    Take a hard look at the coins. Look at a mark or point, and compare the images.

    Tony I was going to wait for some more replys and then let everyone know what the Deal is here. image By the way I have No Gripes at all with what happened when I bought the dimes and then when I received the dimes. In fact I think I got the best of this deal......By Far.

    OK....OK... Question is posed to the Merc folks this way. Which Picture REALLY looks like the Dimes. Top or Bottom ?

    It was a ALMOST Trick question. I really thought everyone would pick up that these are really the same coin. imageimage

    The bottom pictures make the coins look better, IMO. I'll bet the top ones are from a website (not very sharp detail), and that they really look more like the bottom photos (probably taken by you, Ken). It's interesting how different photos of the same coin can look, depending on the lighting, angle, and of course, the camera.

    Yes the top pictures are Auction pictures. I was really apprehensive about bidding on the 23P. Really thought it might be a Doggy coin. The 17S looked OK to me so I had no problem with bidding on the coin. When they were received yesterday both coins surpassed my expectations by a bunch. The bottom pictures are pictures I took. Actually the coins are a little brighter than what shows up here on the forumns. I suppose you all know that though. For some reason the pictures lose some clarity here but on the NGC site the come out ouite clear. PCGS, come on work on this a little. image
