Who has done buisness with Jetproofs?

I was looking in their site today and saw some really nice raw commens. I would like any input you guys could give a newbie on these folks. Thanks in advance for your help

They actually advised me against buying one of their coins because it was a "Weak D" variety.

Newbie mistakes all, and I take full responsibility for them. That was the situation, though.
However, to their considerable and great credit, they agreed to buy them back for what I'd paid for them, when I called to complain. Even as inferior coins, though, the market had moved up the prices enough by last fall to where I actually made a profit by selling them instead to deal dealer. A rising tide raises all dolts.
So my advice: they'll stand behind their stuff to a reasonable degree, but look their raw coins over very carefully when you get them! (That advice, of course, applies for anybody).

dpoole, why did you assume that Jetproofs was the bad part of the equation? Did you ever think that the grading service undergraded the coins? It was nice of them to buy the coins back from you, but maybe they were so willing to do so because they know what the grades really are and don't care what the grading service said. Just my opinion (which everyone seems to hate lately).
I presumed so because the grades were so far off, and because the grading divergence was so pervasive throughout the group (I'd bought proof sets, 1936 through 1942). Also, it was confirmed to be so after I acquired/applied an education about grading.
