Open 3 closed 3 on a 1883 Morgan

Which is more common? Where can I learn more about this, please.
Thank you!

Can't tell you about common, but the end all and be all book for Morgans is the VAM book. You can learn about VAMs here.
  • Awesome! Thank you very much for your time nwcs!

    Kim-
I really don't understand what you are asking; Do you have a closed 3? If so it's probably a die crack. If you do a picture would be helpful in attributing what you have because there was only 1 type of 3 used on 1883 dies and it was not a closed 3.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
  • I have no clue dog...my dealer sent it to NGC. The research guys are looking at it. It is also being PhotoProofed, so when I get that back, I'll post the photos. I have yet to see it....
