I have 1900-O. It is PCGS MS63. I believe it to be VAM 35A..not VAM 29A which I read is very rare in Mint State quality? Could someone please confirm. I am trying to attach pic of date area but new to site so if not show up please help!!! Is there any kind of price guide to let me know what this coin & other VAM's are worth? Thanks, John

I have just acquired a supposedly up-to-date listing of all the attributed discoveries of Morgan varieties since publication of the 4th edition of the VAM Book, but it doesn't include a 1900-O Vam 35A. Can you lease expound on this variety.
That said, from what I do have, I believe that the difference in the crack on 29A and 35 can be differentiated by the crack on VAM 35 splits into a "Y" between the 9 and first 0, with one branch going the lower portion of the 0 and the either going back to the denticles. Also, VAM 29A die break is described as "... break is as high as date digits above the field."
The VAM 29A, being a Top 100, has values listed in the Top100 Value Guide, available by subscription. It is the only price guide for Top100 varieties I am aware of.
