A new purple grape. Its a Jefferson 1955 check it out

Here it is I picked this up today for the whopping amount of 75c yes thats right under a buck. I know my pictures arnt the best. This is a dark coin my light made the obv look kind weird even more purple then it actually is . The rev is actually a closer match to what it really looks like.

The over all color is a very dark purple greenish oliveish . With shades of bluish silver miked in. Cool if you ask me. Tell me what you think.

    I'm not generally a toned coin fan ( I know...I think I'm the only one) but this is pretty sharp. Do nickels often tone in purples?

    Im not sure if this is standard toning for Jerrefson. I know I have the gamut of color from orange, green, rainbows of color, and now purple

    I've seen Buffalos that were purple-ish but never that dark! All I can say is "Wow! Neat coin!"

    Great coin. I have been obsessed with these for a few months. They seem to come in almost any color.
