What do you think this would grade?

I just found this 1837 No stars half dime on eBay and I was wondering what you thought it would grade. It does have some scratches on it but it does have very nice details.
I think it looks pretty good for have the scratches on it. I think with both the toning and scratches it has its own character.

With all the rim damage and scratches I would send it to ANACS and it will be graded possibly damaged good with fine details. I'd start a half dime collection, or leave it alone in a mylar flip. The worn die pattern on the obverse really distracts the from the details.
I wish I had it to fill a slot!

The coin is worth a few dollars and the cost of sending to ANACS would exceed the value of the coin. Too bad about all those scratches as the coin does have kind of a neat tone. It's hard to put an actual grade on a coin like this as the scratches are just too numerous. mike

F-15/VF details, NET G in my opinion. But you know what? I still think it's a neat coin. I like the 30s seated coinage better than the later ones.

Excluding the scratches and such.
I would grade the coin a high end F-15. Just a near miss vf-20. Needed a little more detail in the gown, and wreath on the reverse.
