RPM Question

A few weeks back i was checking out some pocket change when i found a Jeff with the promenant D to the north of the other. I put that in a 2x2 and forgot about it. Now today i'm going through the change again and get another RPM Jeff. On this one the prominant D is lower and rotated just a tad clockwise. Thing is the top of the lesser looks like the prominant D is wearing a driving cap, not like the top of a D. Anyone seen this? Got a few pic's that kinda show it, just aint got the res or the lighting for a real decent pic (like coppercoins posts).

What year dates are these? That would help to find a OMM or RPM variety!

jeffnpcb - The first one is a 2000-D. The odd one is a 2001-D.

They can't be RPMs. The mint changed the way they created dies in 1990 making the last possible dated RPM 1989.

coppercoins is correct. The mint mark is hub added now, not punched onto the die. You may have machine doubling, or possible die chip(s) around the mint mark. I have a 2002D cent with a couple of die chips around the mint mark.
