1971 Topps set from Superior Auction

Whoever wins the set, or is thinking about bidding, I can help the cost. There is one card I will make a nice offer for. Send me a PM or email to NKane9@aol.com.

With the auction set to close in a few days, is anyone out there bidding on this or knows who is? Email me at NKane9@aol.com and let me know, as I am looking to help subsidize one's cost with the purchase of a certain card. Thanks.

I have it book marked. Unfortunately, I need that card, so I will be selling my 7 if I win the set.

Are we going head to head again? The last time that we did this, you cost me multiple K's image

Is that multiple Kelloggs K's or just money???
  • Are those vintage?
Why do I get the feeling, that some cards are worth money, while others are not?

If you're as aggresive, I don't stand a chance. It might even exceed my maximum before the last day. Hopefully someday I'll win one. image

Hey all; I would be interested too in some of the cards if one of you end up being the high bidder. I note there are many 7s in the set; my minimum standard is a 7 for this set. I might also be interested in some of the lower value 8s as well. Ok, that is my "me too."

I'd be interested in the Larry Hisle and Larry Bowa cards.

I just bought my first 1971 Topps Psa card. But hold on, I'm not crazy enough to undertake
this large set and with black borders. I just always wanted this card.

    Psa 8 Bunning

I tried to win one of these a few months ago. I thought the card was going for $25-$35.
Am I wrong? Are the prices dropping on some of the 71's or did I buy one that has now
    1 billion in Psa 8?image

Anyhow, I thought this card would be a fine addition to my odd ball stuff.

Let me know if anyone has a nice Hisle or Bowa. I could help you in the attempt to buy the Superior
set for sure with cash for the two cards (Psa 8 and centered prefered). I'd be willing to
    put up about $20.image

  • Aconte- Nice Bunning. I found myself looking at that myself as it sat there without a bid. $14.95 seemed cheap to me also. Has Jimbo fallen from favor? Or maybe like you say...it has a statospheric POP?
    Congrats anyway.

Looking at the POP report, it seems that your theory is correct:

    1971 Topps #574 Jim Bunning:

    49 - PSA 7
    124 - PSA 8 image
    8 - PSA 9
