Terminology for this 1997 Washington

in U.S. Coin Forum
The ponytail is separated from the rest of the hair.Is this common for the Washingtons? I also have 3 Miss.state .25 the same way.What would be the proper term for these coins?

    I'd say a filled die but's hard to say for sure without a pict.
