Yeah it does not look good...looks like maybe a bad dip or the starting of toning....The coins I have dipped I spent a great deal of time with them in the water...and then they are blow dryed...can not tell they were dipped. I do not mind toned coins many of them are very beautiful...but then there are the ones that are just down right ugly....and many coins that have been mishandled....If they are vintage coins I would not dip because for a 100 year old coin really needs to show its true color and state of condition without anyones help.
