"Scarface" Vam Value Need Advice

Just had PCGS upgrade an Anacs MS62 1888-O "Scarface" Morgan Dollar to MS63 in a PCGS holder. Now my problem is I can't find a value on this. MS63 is the highest grade in this variety. Any guesstimates?

An upgrade from ANACs to PCGS... GOOD EYE. Est. value should be in the $700-$1000 range.

Thank you, I was hoping to just break even or would have been happy with MS61

    boz:

I have had the chance to buy this variety (1888-o scarface) on three separate occasions and all three coins were in the MS 62 range and one was even graded 62 by ANACs. I recall the asking price was in the $450-$550 range. Unfortunately, I passed on all of them. Another three of my fine decisions...image

According to the latest Top100 Valu-guide, the last 1888-O Vam 1B in MS63 traded in excess of $2750, $1800 for MS62.
