Man I'd LOVE to look through this!!!

I was listening to Paul Harvey today on Talk Radio and he told a story about this gentelman who had saved every single coin he'd ever goten in change. Apparently he just thru it in a jar. Anyway the guy is now 89 years old and donated all that change to his church!
The grand total.........$72,000.........
*face value*
Man wouldn't that be cool to go thru! He also said that the guy had about 26 5 gallon buckets of just quarters!
Just thought you'd enjoy that story as much as I did!

Raw coins are junk. Worthless. Insignifigant. Fool's play.
Unless they're in slabs, they don't deserve anything more than face value. In fact, the church should get a discount for the inconvenience!

that would be 1924. Assuming coins circulate some 10 years we could have coins
include Barber coinage, Liberty standing Quarters, Liberty nickels, Buffalos, Walking liberties, IHC
and might even have some seated liberties. Morgan and peace dollars and a lot of mercury dimes.
I think I would pay 20 dollars just to look thru the stuff. A coin wholesaler would probably offer
the church 4-5 times face value for the whole kit and kaboodle. Think of the silver content alone.
