PR: Oen week until Baltimore

Baltimore is looking very strong for next weekend. Weather appears that it
will be favorable, and the rare coin and currency market is very HOT right now.
Precious metals appear to be trying to move up some more, and the stock
market is looking pretty bleak. A strong Bowers and Merena auction help
heat up business, and EVERYONE will enjoy the great crabcakes and
Maryland Hard Shell crabs, and all the attractions around the Inner Harbor.

The bourse looks strong, and The Baltimore Coin and Currency Convention
is hoping to overcome the lower attendance trends at other shows around the country (due to less folks traveling in these times of uncertainty), with some brand new cable TV advertising around the Baltimore area to bring folks in.
We also expect a larger amount of youngsters to attend (if that is possible)
to get their Free Hand Full of Money from our Kid's Bucket. We have put out
an impassioned plea to our dealers to donate some extra "numismatic goodies"
for the kids, and within an hour we had over a dozen pledges of goodies like Columbian Expo halfs, barber coinage, two and three cent pieces, silver dollars, modern commemorative halfs and dollars, buffalo nickels, proof singles (and special holders to put them in), and knowing the dealers the way we do there is
liable to be some more gold coins thrown in the bucket than we usually have. Plus there will be supplies, books, and holders, reference material and other stuff given out separately as long as it all lasts.

If you are attending Baltimore next week, please consider bringing along some
goodies for the kids. Each convention, more and more of our guests get into
bringing stuff along because the noticeable enjoyment and enthusiasm that we
see when the kids are hanging over the bucket and scooping up all kinds of neat
coins. It is genuine and real. We started this concept several years ago, and
we have seen first hand how this helps get youngsters interested in our hobby,
and in our business. I hope to run a list of the dealers before I leave for Baltimore
this weekend, and will have a list of those generous dealers and collectors, who
want to help, displayed at the Convention Office. We especially need lots of bulk material like wheat cents, foreign coins, medals and tokens, State Quarters, whatever. Inexpensive slabs work well too. Everything donated goes to the kids,
and we appreciate whatever help we can get for this important project. Thanks.

Do you have a listing available online of the dealers/table numbers??
that would sure be a nice thing to add. It would help me plan my time at the show much more effectively!

possibly place it on the webpage in PDF or WORD format for people like me to download! Just a suggestion.
