Good ole snail mail...I sent an insured package to Philadelphia on 2-28-03. It still hasn't arrived. What's the record for a USPS delivery 200 miles away? Twowood

I have been waiting to get my "greenies" back on coins I sent out Feb.24-26th! But on the other hand...coins to Florida from Mass have arrived in 3 or 4 days. I hope it's the mail...otherwise there are some rude Ebayers out there! I think it depends on where it is going, and just how many of the post office safes it has to sit in before reaching the new owner. Still the safest way to send a coin, IMHO.

email the recieptant to check with their carries for a package. I used to work for the good ole P.O. and it is likely the package is back on a shelf at the post office. Mark

A long long time. Every now and then you still see a story about a letter or package being delivered that was originally sent fifty or sixty years ago.
