Hi Sean. Long time no seen
Here's the image of entire obverse....sorry, I'm not a good photographer.
18 is recut and first I thought it's V-3, but I see doubling(?) on OF AMERICA and also on the base.
No doubling on UNITED STATES.

Could that just be die deterioration? I don't really see any doubling as much as the letters getting mushed out.

What's die deterioratin?
I thought doubling occures only to one direction....left, right,up or down.
But my coin has doubling(?) all around the letter "OF AMERICA" and I thought it weired.

I don't qualify as an expert, but it sure looks like doubling, especially apparent on the first and last A in America, and on the R and I.
