There once was a guy named Dog
Who stashed his Morgans in a log.

    Out back they sat
    Even in dung of rat

Till they toned to the reed
No one could say Hey ATd

Then he sold em to a snake
Who said ,Hey Nice shake and bake

So he bought all his stash
And was gone in a flash

And we havnt heard from him since.

Ok I,m getting way too silly now.

Could it be a fingerprint on the holder and not the coin?
  • I wouldn't be surprised. I've got a tape at home that GSA made years ago...Burgess Meredith narrarates it...about Carson City and the dollars. There's one small scene where you see the folks actually looking at the dollars and putting them in the GSA cases. They're all wearing gloves in the video...but then you never know...somebody might've gotten lazy at some point.
