e-bay coin, why do I? Edited I asked for a picture.

I see auctions like this and actually consider bidding . Do ou ever feel tempted by something like this? link I asked the seller for a picture here is their response. "HI, no I am sorry, I don't have a pic. But it is in excellent condition and from what I understand, it is quite rare. I am a bank teller and I came across it at work. It is the only one that I have seen." So I asked what the reserve was and would they sell it ? Response #2 "I haven't actually taken it to a coin agent, so I am unsure what it's actual value may be. Let me take it get a value on it and I will get back to you. What are you willing to offer?

Now, I'm a little confused. Are there two heads on one side or is it one head on each side? image

An extra head is a good thing.

  • Seller needs to be better prepared. Picture would be great...a little description would be nice. Maybe it will reappear with better listing. If not, pass on it.

Just think, he listed it with a reserve. With the new 1% juice on reserves, he has a nice E-Bay bill for nothing!!

I E-mail the sell also asking if the coin has any cuts or tool marks. This is the response I got.

<< <i>Actually, according to a local coin dealer, it was truly a misprint. I am a bank teller and came across it at work. So, as far as being a magicians coin, sorry, this time you have miscalculated. >>

No, but they give me a good laugh.
