Economy Service & You

Since the economy service is taking forever, I'm just curious why don't you go back to the grading room as a temporary fix? Another grader probably wouldn't make a major dent in the turnaround time, but it could shave a few days off.

Didn't you used to be one of the graders a few years ago?

    Greg...

I have a lot to do as President of PCGS. I could grade on the line, but I have trouble sitting in one spot for 4 hours at a stretch...I just don't have the psychological make-up to sit still that long. I currently help speed up the grading process by taking on all the problems, reviews, guarantee resubmissions, and all the other time-consuming peripheral stuff the grading room is burdened with every day. I'm very quick at getting the grader input and making decisions on specific grading issues. My involvement allows Ron Howard and the other graders to spend most of their time on grading. This is in my opinion the best way for me to help the turn-around time problem.
