When can we add 2003 coins?

I asked David Hall this question Tuesday night, but he chose not to acknowledge the question, so I'll ask you folks.

Does anyone know when PCGS will add 2003 coins to the ASE registry?

If it's like this past year...then December at the earliest as they want to give everyone a chance to get their 2003 coins before it is required in the set (based on when the last state quarter for the year becomes available as an example)
  • Thanks, that makes sense. This is my first year to be in the registry.

Will be long before December. I added the State quarters last year as I got them. Should be soon. They will only be listed as optional, and not count towards your overall grade until early next year though. For type sets, you need to wait though.

    Hi Travis,

Since DH doesn't handle Set Registry operations, he didn't know the answer to your question. I'll be adding the 2003 coins probably next week. They will go in as optional and then at the very end of December they will be come required for the set.

Anytime you have questions such as this, please feel free to email me directly at bj@collectors.com. I'm generally pretty good at getting back to you in a reasonable amount of time.

    Thanks.
