HELP 1899O BARBER DIME

in U.S. Coin Forum
I have the above coin (my 1st) on the Obverse the O in of America looks like a U, there seem to be corn in the wheat on the reverse. The 2nd 9 in the date is closed at the bottom.This is the only Barber Dime I have and know nothing about them. I would be grateful for any help as to what is going on with this coin.Is it on the VAM list,etc ?Thanks,Snakeimage

    The closed second nine could be a 99/99 repunched date with the second date overlapping the first giving the appearance of being filled in.

    Cool varieties, not worth any premium I doubt.
