Want To Have Some Fun At The Next Luncheon!

Hey, at the next Long Beach (June) show Lunch we have - anyone want to have some fun? I'll select 100 PCGS slabs dated 1932-date covering all fields of US coins (Mint State and Proof) and everyone attending the Lunch can try their hand at guessing the grade of the 100 PCGS coins. Small prizes to the winners and the honor of being the CU Coin Forum resident "expert" modern grader. What do you think?

Wondercoin. That would sound like a lot of fun. It may even get me to go to one of your Luncheons! Actually, I've always wanted to attend one, but I'm always working on those days (maybe this time will be different). Anyway, the only question I would have is that maybe 100 is too many. Wouldn't somewhere between 20-40 suffice to determine the results? Statistically, I don't think you would get much more accuracy just by increasing the # of coins up to 100.

I'd be particularly interested in seeing the 1964.
PQPeace: Yes, 1921-date would be fine too

Get's a little expense to put out 100 coins filled with MS68 Barbers, MS67 Seated material and the like. But, maybe a few can loan those coins to the contest
<< <i>How about some real light. I had an unfair unvantage over Jom since I was under the light and he was in the dark. >>
Yeah, and the waiter couldn't see either. lol

I agree Jom. The waiter poured more pepsi on your shoe than he did in the glass.

Invite some real live PCGS graders to participate in the contest. Compare their scores with the unwashed masses.

Again, if anyone else wants to gather up (100) 20th century coins (or any others) and do the same thing at Santa Clara that would be great - that way, I could play as well

How about passing around 20 or so trade dollars and having everyone guess the varieties?
