EBay sellers

I've noticed in various different threads people will say that so-and-so is a good E-Bay seller or so-and-so is on the list of sellers to avoid. Is there some central place that lists who the good sellers and the sellers to avoid are?

No. The problem is that sometimes it is too subjective.

Everyone's standards are different and what one person sees as a problem may not be a problem for someone else.

With a little common sense, reading some of the problems encountered on this forum and IMO a little patience and understanding/benefit of the doubt you can avoid a major catastrophe.

In addition to Uncle Joe's advice and so we don't lose sight of the obvious, take a good, hard look at an seller's feedback on eBay. Again, subjective, but you will get a feel if a seller is on the up and up, delivers as promised, maybe even if they can grade a little. Take it and any other advice with a grain of salt and you should be able to make an educated decision on your own. Good Luck! Dave
  • Good points. There are many auctions that I choose to avoid either because the coin just doesn't look good or I don't like the seller's feedback. I guess my point is that I've seen several threads on the Forum that talk about avoiding certain sellers or giving kudos to sellers. I guess the best thing to do if I'm really curious is to PM the poster to learn what their experience was.
