How did you manage not to burn the roll as you cooked those coins with your potatoes... Or you folled us and rolled the coins after the fact?

    It's nice...

Lucy, you take the coin roll and cook it like a weiner.

Got to constantly keep that roll turning.

Lucy, Bears have that effect on young women.

By the way, Mad Marty, that nickel has beautiful color.

You were most fortunate to snag that wonderful role.

    Hows the other end coin???

I don't know, guys. I guess we're all getting older. I need to read too.
I thought the thread was so OT. I didn't think I had anything to add to Enron Trolling.

That's a very pretty coin, but one you might more commonly see as a beautifully toned proof issue, with the color quality and smooth even coverage that this one shows. You would expect end roll toned coins to have a distinct( or somewhat distinct, depending on how often the coin was disturbed) " pattern" that reflects the shape of the paper enviornment it's stored in. In this case, maybe more of a bullseye pattern because of the shotgun type roll it's in. However, and there always seems to be an exception to the rule, the "Appalachain Hoard" of toned War Nickels were also stored in rolls, purportedly in a small metal foot locker, for a few decades, many of which toned in a similar manner. So this coin could also be the product of similar storage. The colors don't seem out of line for the issue, but out of curiousity, the paper end we see looks pristine, how does the other end look?
