See my thread about my "miracle submission" and you won't have any doubt where I stand. PCGS RULES.

How about, "PCGS keeps changing, which is for the worse of the coin market".

Hmm... it appears as though the majority thus far believes that PCGS is doing a good job. Nice to see after all the threads.

    hey jeff

this is like one of those military exams that are given for advancement. they ask the examinee to pick the answer which is closest to the correct answer!!! absurdity at it's best, but in this case quite true. i shall endeavor to make a proper choice.

I have no opinion because I'm not experienced enough to be able to tell. However, I can say I've seen coins that look like my 64 coins (pcgs) in 63 (pcgs) holders. And the reverse as well.

Dave, it's a plurality right now and not a majority. 38% (as of this post) think it's not changed and are happy. That means the majority disagree with that assessment.

    What a bogus poll.

You need to make the respondants qualify themselves. How many coins do you submit monthly? What type of coins (no one is complaining about changing standards on state quarters)? What type of submissions? (raw, cross, crackouts, etc)

Another meaningless poll that has no relevance to reality.

Most of these posts have no revelance to reality. The whole internet is like that. Not just this poll.

To the contrary, one does not have to submit coins to have an opinion of the grading performed by PCGS.

How many coins have you submitted to ACG? I am sure you have an opinion of their grading and trends thereof.

Maybe your post was just another meaningless post?

Hi Keets, forgot to reply to your comment....

I remember those military tests, it seemed as though half the questions had all the answers close and the other haf of the questions had all of the answers not even close. image

I have no opinion of ACG as I have not used them. Anyone can have an opinion. But for an opinion to have any valid weight, it should be made by someone who has knowledge of what they are making an opinion of.

I do not know if PCGS has changed their grading, I do not submit enough coins to know. Not many here would have the ability to make an educated statement of this question, but all will have an "opinion".

    hey prooflike

you remember well!!! the first one i took had me shaking my head, after that i did OK. some counsel from the shop chief helped me out. as george carlin used to say about military intelligence, the two words are mutually exclusive.

    Polls suck.
A dealer once asked me if I noticed any three-legged buffalos on the bourse,to which I replied,"...no,but I saw alot of two-legged jackasses..."

I can't pick any of these. How about...

PCGS grading has changed, in order to ensure that it is the tighest grading service of choice.
Some refer to overgraded slabs as Coffins. I like to think of them as Happy Coins.
