I believe I may have been the high bidder on a '23-S 66 ..not FB, but damn close, really close..no further comment other than right up my alley PQ image

    The Heritage one ? If so a Very Good looking Merc Dime. It sold if I read things correctly last night. Congratulations.

    yup, I confirmed it, it indeed was the Heritage example sold last nite.

    Heritage was on the ball with this auction. My two coins came today also. The 23S is Damn close to FB isn't it. Nice Coin. image

    Looks pretty close to full bands.
    I have a '29-S and a '39-S on which, I swear, the bands are split; but PCGS doesn't think so! image
    The costs are a little lighter though! image

    I got my coins from the Signature sale today, and the one from the Bullet sale on Friday. Glad they didn't get lost as they must self insure. Showed up with a stamp on a priority envelope.

    yup yup, I like it alot. It can practically pass as FB, but you know already I'd rather have a PQ coin or an undergraded one for that matter than the angst and fiacso driven path to regrade waste avenues. (now what the heck did I just say, I must be tired......)
    The 2 you got today too are quite nice too, Heritage seems to have sent alot of goods last week, and yes they send mostly priority and I belive they are all insured privately. Mine came with a stamp too, but it did have a delivery confirmnation.
    Don Don Don, you must'nt let anything get you down and dumpy. As long as you believe they truly are better than what the slab says, it will always pack a premium image
