new designation for original coins

Mr. Hall:

Will PCGS ever consider the use of an original surfaces designation for circulated type coins, including gold, to separate choice original coins from those that are not?

    You're the first person to ever ask this. It might be possible, but then again, it can be a very subjective call. Hard enough now to get the grade right. Doesn't seem to me like something the marketplace wants.
