muliple reasons for bodybags - what's listed?

What would PCGS graders put on a bodybagged coin that is cleaned/whizzed, damaged, questionable color, PVC damage, and questionable authenticity (tooled/altered date)?

The reason I ask is because on the US Forum, someone mentioned their 1916-D Mercury came back as cleaned and were glad at least they know it is authentic. - I questioned whether they now know it is authentic.

Do graders pick the first problem they see, or the worst problem they see, and is authenticity assumed if it comes back in a bodybag in something other than - die struck copy - not genuine?

A body bag does not necessarily mean a coin is authentic. It only means that the graders noticed the problem first, before they even looked for authenticity. We grade and authenticate...the two go together.
