Proof Coins & Rotated Dies...

Is it common for proof coins to have rotated dies. I know this one is not much, but it was enough that I noticed it. Thought I would share.

It is not uncommon to see a little rotation. I have a nice proof Mercury dime right here with 5 degrees of rotation or so. I see it on earlier proof Jeffs too.

The Mercury's I've seen are notorious for rotated dies.

I think it is somewhat common for "certain series" to be more inclined to have some rotation, rather than certain "strikes," unless you consider those strikes (proof or business) within the series' prone to rotated dies. that was a mouthful.
