Boys and girls, thems the coins that now belong to the little bear. Just some average every

day routine stuff you get from the big Anaconda. These are the coins that I sacrificed my jelly donuts for

    37 years for. Sob.....Sniff......Sniff.

    Yes Bear,

IMO they are all outstanding, and I am green with envy. As I look at yet another of the Anaconda series, I'm thinking if I should even bother checking his inventory; maybe I can check out the center hyperlink. image

The problem with the half, though, is that were I to acquire something like that, what are the chances I could ever complete a series with the same look. image I'd love to have any number of them, but in the long run, I'd probably become depressed being able to own only a few such beauties. image

Congratulations Bear ! You're a great coin shopper. I would be surprised if there was even one bad comment on any of those coins.
Jelly donuts may taste better than those coins, but they could never match their beauty.image

Congratulations Bear! These are three really nice coins. Like everyone else the Seated Half just blows me away... serious eye candy!

My budget will never allow me to own coins like these, but I certainly do appreciate them. While some folks get all distressed by picture of coins for sale (I know these are sold), I view them a eye candy and dont particularly care if there is a for sale sign next to the picture. They are not for sale to me, as I will never be able to afford them.. so they are entertainment pure and simple. I will now step down from my soapbox and go back to drooling over these beautiful coins.

These three make me feel a little wobbly. I love the Grant w/star comm. What a beautiful group you picked up bear.
  • Bear, I'm very jealous. You've picked out some very nice coins. I think that you will need your own table at shows to display the fantastic coins you've picked up recently. Maybe two tables... Heck, I'll pitch in a donut or two just for the pleasure of viewing.

I'm not a bust man, per se, but your 1880 half is delicious. You have the forum's collective "growl of approval" on these three!

That 1834 bust half sure doesn't look MS-65 to me, but it's hard to tell from the scan. What's the luster like?

Nice freakin' coins! I have to admit, however, that I don't like them, I love them.image

Adrian, is that a general book on nature or is it specifically ornithology? The way that distance is conveyed by the lightening of the image is very cool and the colors especially vibrant.
