NoviceKris is a gentleman and a scholor (NOT OT)

I've been working to put together a nice presentation/classroom history lesson that combines coins in American history with the history they represent (and, as importantly, the history happening in the time the coins were minted.) I've been assembling a set of halves for the purpose - nicely circulated, warm, friendly halves - the kind the kids can hold, feel, and experience while we discuss American history (in a nutshell, really). I've found some of the halves I've needed through forum members. Some great folks have made it possible for me to afford lots of stuff to let the kids handle during the lesson.
One of those people is NoviceKris - I got a nice stack of Frankies today that are perfect! They've seen America in its daily life in the 40s and 50s. He's the man and a public thank you to him.
Some other members have stuff on the way, and I'll keep you all updated (if you wish) as to the other stuff received and the progress of the lesson.
Coins make a super way to relate to history - from Bust to Kennedy...
