Hank was a R&B Doo Wop legend who started the Annie song craze in the mid 50s and was also the original author and singer

A great artist w/the Midnighters that recorded for Federal and King among other labels. Without a doubt, he will be missed.

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

Ballard originally started with a group called the Royals, in 1953 he joined this group at the age of 16. They recorded on Apollo Records. This group changed their name to the Midnighters in 54 after confusion between them and the 5 Royals...

    Lucille...

A great voice and a creative genius. Hank Ballard had all the talent, Dick Clark made all the money.

He was a sweet man. Gordon Wrubel spent a little time with him. You can contact Gordy at wrubelg@collectors.com
