What should I do with my collectoin?

I have been thinking about what to do with all my coins! All of them are not graded and not in very great shape. The best of what I has been put into holders(did not have any for the dollars that i have). Most of thease coins I do not like except the Mercury dimes!

I want to work to having all slabed collection. So the ones here are kinda not what I want to have.

I have pics but cant get them to post. So if you want to see them let me know!

What do you think I should do?

Gary

One thing you could possibly do is to take your coins with you when you go certified-coin shopping, and perhaps dealers will consider making a partial trade. Or you might try to sell your coins outright to a dealer. In either case, don't expect the moon.

Well the first rule is collect what you like, so I'd suggest you build a Mercury dime collection.

An album would be the most cost effective way to store them.

But if you want to work at having an all slabbed collection, I assume you mean you want coins in your collection in which you can be assured of their condition, or grade so you should only buy PCGS or NGC slabs.

If you want to slab your exisiting collection, then you can get your own holders from Coin World and make your own.

Mercs are Ugly. I suggest starting some other series and send the Ugly Mercs to me for a Fair Offer. Just remember they are Ugly though.

If you don't like something or do not receive any pleasure from the coin(s), sell or spend and buy something else.

ebay is a good dumping ground, maybe make some lots so ebay costs don;t eat your profit.

Depending on the condition of your stuff, looks like you have a good start of stuff to sell.

I sold a lot of my raw stuff years ago(on ebay) and bought different stuff and eventually tried that slab thing. I like the 'presentation' the slab gives.

Selling a collection, or part of, is part of the hobby, just do it.
