See-- I bet you were thinking a offical 1954 PSA graded set was listed on ebay. Wrong!
That joker who lists all the cutout reprinted cards from the 1st Issue of Sports Illustrated (he is relentless in listing them over and over) has decided to list a whole set of them graded by AAA grading. Link....As I write this the bid is up over $500.00. He never puts in his auction titles that they are from SI.
So anybody who wants to rip off people, could buy a 1st issue off ebay for 50-75 bucks, get them graded, AAA for $8 each ($216 total) and then sell it as a whole on ebay for double...Who gets hurt...except the poor sap who gets ripped off into thinking they have something of value.
He always protects the bidders identity by making the bidder list private....I'm sure he bids up his own auctions as well...

What do you think the buyers are expecting because clearly they are over-paying? I have three copies of the magaine and have never even conidered having them graded.
I have a few hundred extra PSA graded 1971 Kellogg's cards. E-mail for price list. Looking for 1970 Topps Supers in PSA 9 too.

I just think it is a shame...Read his feedback...he has a ton of negatives and neutrals, from people who bought it thinking that it was the real deal....now I think they are to blame for not reading carefully, but if he hadn't been trying to screw people over then people wouldn't be disappointed...
I don't think e-bay will do much about this...think of all the fee's they generate from this guy, especially since he buy's the $19.95 Featured Post auction setting quite frequently.
He used to grade with NASA, but they seem to be gone. I bet AAA Grading is in his basement. If you run a WhoIs you'll find that both www.royhuff.com and AAAgrading.com are hosted by the same ISP...now you may be thinking how many hosting choices does one have in Hawaii...however ask yourself why in the world would a real grading company set up shop there. Imagine the shipping fee overhead.
Anyway people like this irk me.
So I guess I could just start downloading scans of desirable cards, print them out on my photo printer using nice glossy photo paper, cut them out to original specs, and submit them to AAA hoping for NMMT or better. This is disgusting!
JEB.

This unethical person is taking advantage of the new influx of ebay users. Gerat tv commercials...bad for the newbie.
Hopefully some of the people being riped off will complain to both seller and ebay. When one of these victems showes one of these graded pieces of paper to a knowledgable person, only to be told, that it is worthless....look out seller.
