Here’s a nice mint set toned Washington quarter.

This is an NGC MS67 1944-S Washington quarter. It’s got what I think is mint set toning. The toning is even, and the luster is strong. I like the looks of the coin, although nice blue, green, and yellow toning would be a bit nicer than mint set brown-grey.
PCGS wouldn’t cross it as a 67; so, I left it in the NGC holder.
Would any Washington collectors like to comment on the coin’s appearance? How about the strike? To me, the eagle looks a little soft. Maybe that’s normal for the date?
