I just decided that now was a good time to brag image

I shipped something on Tuesday of this week... arrived in Montana (that's oh, 2700 miles or so) on Thursday... First Class mail, no insurance or anything... just a padded envelope...

Good story. They can do it when they want to. Twowood image
  • When they want is not very often. I shipped registered to PCGS from PA Monday. Is not there yet. Some days the mail carrier drops off the mail at 9:30 AM, other days at 1:30 PM. Same route, so who knows what is happening................Ken

    ksteelheader (Doc),

You should know that Registered Mail is about the slowest form of mail the USPS offers. Each item has to be signed for by everyone that controls it along the way. It is pretty slow, but also pretty secure (a lot better than UPS or FedEx) image

Actually for some strange reason, Registered Mail from here in North carolina is very fast.

I can send a registered package to PCGS and have it sent out Thursday by 4:00pm and it will be recorded by PCGS as recieved By close of business monday.

Also, Most shipments to Oregon, Washington, California only take about three days registered??

Jeremy, maybe I lied and did not get it image

It is strange how some times I will have an auction close on Sunday, and have payment by Wednesday, while most take until the following Saturday to get here. Maybe it was the weather, it was only 35 below one night and 30 below the next here.
