Cool rolls of Sacs from Bank - OK, I can't help it.

On my last trip to the bank, I decided to get a little coin boost, so I bought some rolls, including Sacs. Out of 4 rolls, I got three circ's and 1 in the US Mint yellow and blue wrapper. Guess a collector gave up. It was a nice roll of 2000-P's. The circ rolls were more fun though. I found 1 off-center planchet (all the way to the edge on obverse), and these scruffy color coins. Also found 1 with a doubled rim. I wonder what these gals will look like in 10 years.

The one in the upper left corner sure looks like a Denver mintmark to me Come to think of it, you only said the Unc roll was from Philly.

They start out bad ugly, maybe they can only get better!

If they would just circulate more, they would lose that color. I carry as a pocket piece the very first Sac I received (February 2000.) It is now a very uniform light brown/tan. Not ugly at all.

Here's a new concept. Maybe you can have them AT'd to their original color. ;-)

I wish they just made all vending machines SAC friendly! I've got no objections to the coin and find them interesting pieces. I've purchased several rolls over the last few years, and recieved a bunch from the Post Office. I also carry a few with my quarters in my Levi's change pocket on a daily basis in hopes of being able to use them.
I'm still angry in the fact that WALLY WORLD[aka WallMart] got them first and really never got a foot hold in general circulation. It was almost a year before we saw them in the Panama City Area!
