Filing my first insurance claim w/USPS, can anyone help??

You talk about procrastinating, it will be a year ago tomorrow that this trade took place!! I'm waiting until the day before the last day to file! Why, I don't know!!

Can anyone tell me how long the process works and do you always get back the value amount you paid for? The thing is, I bought $60 worth of insurance ($10 extra so the guy would have to sign for the package), the card was worth $50 at the date of the trade. Now it's $80.

Can anyone tell me what I can expect?

You can expect to get $60 after months of waiting and filling out forms.

Oh yeah, the gu never claimed the card was damaged or that he didn't receive it. He just didn't follow through and send the cards I was supposed to get. He stopped replying to my emails too.

Basically I'm asking if I will get the $60 that I paid for or the $50 that's its worth.
