How come I cannot view the Live Heritage Auctions thru eBay

I was viewing them earlier and the auctions stopped right before the Buffalos kicked off. There was a message that said the auctions will resume at 7PM PST (10PM EST).

It is almost midnight in the east and it doesnt look as if the auctions resumed yet.

Anyone know when they might or what the problem is?.

Thanks

  • Don't know what went wrong with live bidding via eBay but Heritage has already posted the bid results for the Buffalos.

I believe what you see on Heritage's sight is that bidding is closed until the auction goes off. Those are not final prices. The same thing I see for some Washington's quarters I am looking at.

Just may be that they havent started up again yet.

I have not been able to view it live on eBay either. Not all of the Buffalos have posted. Some of the later lots still show pending, although most of lots seem finalized.

On heritage's website it says that auctions are closed for Washingtons. But if they were closed, they would not be in my eBay watchlist. they would be in "Item's I won" or "Items I didnt win".

    Something doesnt seem right.

  • The Buffalos are already in the auction archives.

I don't see the ones after about 6050 in the archives yet. Try 6057 Buffalo Nickels 1936-S 5C MS67 PCGS, for example.

This says that this 44P MS67 quarter's auction has ended with a closing bid of $1. I am still confused.[/L]image

Is there anyway to watch the auction or better yet.. still bid?

Now, the rest of the Buffalos have posted.

WWQ--I think you're out of luck. Even if you had someone there, I think bidding on most of the lots that "seem" open actually ended awhile ago.

I know I am probably beating a dead horse but the quarters are the last to go and I figured based on the amount of lots and the time they blew going through the first set.. they should still be open. Some of the prices seem awfully low. For example a PCGS MS67 1947D for $143? And thats with the vig.

If they're last, they could still be open. But bidding closed on Heritage's site yesterday. Live Auction on eBay appears down. In person is the only other way I know at this point. They do take bids by phone but I believe it has to be arranged in advance.

The archives at HNAI are now showing final prices through lot 6201 (half dimes).
