Hobbyist's S. Hampton Home on Travel Channel

I was watching the Travel Channel this evening and they had a show about New York Luxury Homes. A segment of the show revolved around the Hamptons. Anyways they showed one home that is on approx 30 acres (one of the biggest properties in the area) and interviewed the owner....Dan Shedrick. The host mentioned how this homegrown Hamptons resident made is fortune.....as a baseball card entrepreneur. Do any of you guys know Dan? Is he still active in the hobby? His home is simply amazing and I found it pretty cool that the show mentioned how he made his millions.

My G/F and I caught the tail end of it (the house owned by the former publisher of Soap Opera Digest that is on the market for $23 Mil). I've never heard of that person, but I wish I had seen that part of the show, as it might have made my G/F appreciate the "junk" in the office closet of our new 1 Bedroom apartment in Boston a little bit more...
