USPS delivery delays

I was told today by my postal carrier that pretty much all the USPS dist. centers between Dallas and Washington DC have either been closed or severly hampered by this weeks weather. He has a route that includes our Mall as well as a college he only had about 50 pieces for this route today. Just thought I would let everyone know to expect delays in shipping especially from the east coast

    And we go no snow/ice here in Chicago!
    It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
