I just got a Roosevelt dime set which I will post on an different threat
thinking of getting into the pre-1999 proof washingtons
I have a raw US type set about 80% complete
British large pennies(no idea why, though)
anything else that catches my fancy
RAW SETS:
Half cents, 1800-1857, VF and better, by die variety. Missing the 1802.
Indian Head cents, 1859-1909, Good and better. Missing about a half dozen dates.
Lincoln cents, 1909-2002. Many of the common early dates are MS, and a complete MS set from 1927-2002. Very few slabs.
Three cent nickels, 1865-1889, circulated. Any date after 1876 (except the 1881) is tough to find
Buffalo nickels, 1913-1938. Just the meager beginnings of a MS set. Some are slabs in a Registry set.
Jefferson nickels, 1938-2002. Complete MS and proof set.
Roosevelt dimes, 1946-2002. A complete MS set; just one slab!. Also have complete set of proofs.
Washington quarters, 1965-2002. Complete MS, SMS, and proof sets
Walking Liberty halves, 1916-1947. The pre-1934 dates are circulated. About 2/3 of the 1934-1947 coins are slabbed.
Franklin halves, 1948-1963. Complete MS and proof sets; about half are slabbed.
Kennedy halves, 1964-2002. Complete MS and proof, all purchased in year of issue.
Morgan dollars, 1878-1921. Started off as a MS year set, missing coins from 1894 and 1895. A handful are slabbed.
REGISTRY SETS (most coins are photographed):
Proof Wheat cents, 1936-1958. Missing only the 1936 satin finish.
Buffalo nickels, 1913-1938. Started as a MS year set; far from complete.
Mercury dimes, 1916-1945. Lacking 11 MS coins, and the 1936 proof. I'm currently focussing on this set.
Barber quarters, 1892-1916. A four coin set that will probably be deleted due to inactivity.
Standing Liberty quarters, 1916-1930. Missing most of the difficult dates from 1916-1927.
Washington quarters, 1932-1964. A complete basic set, mostly MS66. Also have all proofs except the '36, '38, & '39.
20th Century Type
1793-1964 Copper, Nickel, and Silver Type. One of my favorite sets, but I haven't done much with it recently. Will probably never be completed.

To my way of thinking, series are just duplicates in a type set
