Ok so Anaconda Rare Coins posts a coin that costs as much as my truck and some joblo calls it dipped & cleaned.
It hurt his feelings because he's the Attractive Monster Coin Guy and he feels he let you down by posting such sub-standard material.
Some of you even commented on a fingerprint on one of his monsters further smashing him in the dirt.
So what?
He's not the only ones with feelings!
I recently posted a rare & valuable coin here and it was ridiculed, bashed and put down.
It was a vicious person assault on my knowledge and taste.
I felt other members were not only commenting on my coin but were in fact commenting on the me.
I only wish they would have been so sensitive as to limit their remarks to dipped or overgraded or even something as polite as junk.
This coin was special to me because it was from my child's, her name is Amber Morgan, named after ole George T himself, 1997 collection.
Anaconda might be "skin to the bone" and I feel like a tough piece of leather from the bottom of his shoe.
I didn't think anything about it but after reading the recent threads I've gotten in touch with my feelings, my shrink calls it "finding my femininity."
I posted this coin for your enjoyment but did you appreciate it? NO! You guys needlessly hurt my feelings. And had a good time doing it I might add.
You think I'm being a crybaby? a whiner? That maybe I done turned into a sissy?
Anaconda was handled with kid's gloves & treated nicely as compared to my treatment.
Remember what was said about my child's precious rare & valuable 1997 Mint Error?
I can name names & point fingers and provide links but I'm to upset. My fingers are trembling as I type these words.

This forum drives me f__ing crazy sometimes too.Too often really.But I try to keep it all in perspective.
The posters are not of one face.Its many faces with many different views.So do think of us as having some consistant view of every issue.Not even coins,which is really why we,re all here....I think.Some arent I guess but the majority are.

but dog do you remember how we met

how you feel now is the same way i felt back then, i couldnt see straight either

but a lot of members pm me back then , and convinced me it was just a misunderstanding, and i am glad i stayed

my advice is scr$w them, if you like your coin ,then that is all that matter's
i think you know your coins extremly well ,and anaconda , holly sh$t , the man knows his coins, and any one that trys to knock him is just jealous, he$$ he has coins that are worth more than my house.

Dog:Take it with a grain of salt.They hurt my feelings all the time.Please do not let some of the board members break you down.When they hurt my feelings I just post another question for them.I think alot of the comments they make are real funny.It's all part of the game.Sometimes they go overboard without the Oxygen tank and when they come to the surface they make these funny comments before they go to the decompression tank.

you know somtimes we all say things, that are taken one way, when we really mean it another way. or say something, and after thinking about it, one could say, gee, you know i think that came out wrong. everyone has a diffrent personality, some come across very strong, some are more mild. its just like the coins we share here, there all diffrent. if someone doesnt like your item, shoots off his mouth, who cares.......pass it by..........if you ask hey! what do you think of this one......and someone tells you it looks like crap.....thats not the right way to answer, for there is a right way and a wrong way to tell someone what you think........but remember you did ask....... sometimes we have to take the good with the bad........and somtimes its more bad than good.........pass it by, as long as ...you enjoy...what you have ...in the end, thats all that matters.............

Your title reminded me of an old episode of the Rockford Files.

The title was something like "Lions, Bears, Tigers and Dogs" with Lauren Bucall guesting as a rich society lady.

She was explaining the soceity rankings to Rockford in his trailer.

Bucall: "The lions are the ...., the Bears are the ...., Tigers are ... and the Dogs are"
Rockford (looking around his trailer): "I know who the dogs are".

Dog, I'm here in Long Beach right now and read this. I thought you only cried when Old Yeller died. I truly feel bad if your feelings got hurt, and I'm sure I helped contribute to this.

But I also know when I knock a coin, I usually say something nice to go with it. So I'm sure I noticed and mentioned it had a nice fingerprint or something.
