    lol, thanks bjork, i started collecting him the day the Rockets traded for him, so i've been at it for a while. Happened to luck into running into a few of those cards... been lucky for the most part

    I had a 99/00 MVP superscript RC #03/25 (jersey number) that I sold for $160 awhile back. I did sell my SPX's....never really was the biggest fan of him because of the crap he pulled off on the Grizzlies. I mean, sure it's bad to play for the Grizz, but why be such a suck about it. Other guys go to horrible teams and never complain...why did Francis get the special treatment? Grizz didn't get equal value for him because of his crappy attitude then.

    Who knows, maybe they could still be in Vancouver if Francis went there and played well with Shareef. Will see how well he does having the spotlight taken away from him now that Ming is the show in Houston.

    vincecarder-- Francis didn't complain and not want to play for the Grizzlies because they sucked, it is pretty much understood by high-picks that they'll play for bad teams. he didn't want to play for them because they already had a nice point guard in Bibby, and had no plans to trade either of them. Francis wanted to play the point, and asked Vancouver to not draft him because they already had a point and he didn't want to play out of position, but they picked him anyways. He is too short (6'2") to guard shooting guards (that average 6'5"-6'6") night in and night out, so he forced the trade. He has been the consumate teammate and team player since arriving in Houston, and has said all along that he wants to be a Rocket for the rest of his career.

    I wish i had the money to get that Essen Cred, but i'll never pay over a grand for a basketball card. I have been trying to pick up a raw Essential Credentials for a while. I'll stumble upon one somewhere down the line.

    i just traded a press pass jersey/plaque of stevie to jasonku86 on aim....and i also have a 98-99 basketball yearbook from Allegany Community College where Steve attended in 97-98...It has stuff about him throughout it...I guarantee you would not ever find another person with one of these...I've actually met Steve in person MANY times and even had the chance to play with him...I even know some girls he's slept withimage Allegany Community College is a mile from my house, and it's a small town, so everybody knew everybody...You'd probably want this if you were an all around Francis collector...If just strictly card collector, then probably not, but LMK if it strikes any interest, thanks!
