I just found out that I won lot 1153 of the 2/20 Kolbe numislit auction.

Lot 1153 is a complete run of the John Reich Journal, from issue 1 (1/86) to 43 (10/02), virtually as new, and including both varieties of the 9/86 (third) issue.

At the risk of sounding like a complete and total geek... I can't wait to get them and start reading! Most importantly, I'll have the latest printed JRCS census data for the various denominations and their die varieties!

Thanks, everyone! I won it at $400 + 15% + $12 shipping. My top bid was much higher.

For those who don't know, the JRJ is the thrice-annual publication of the John Reich Collectors Society. The Journal covers Bust material, mostly about silver but also with some articles about gold. I have yet to see any copper articles; I think you'd best join the EAC for that stuff.

I am so excited!!!

Thanks, Bill. You may be able to get back issues by contacting the officers. Jim Matthews told me that Russ Logan had a bunch of back issues at his place. As you can imagine, it would not be good to inquire too indelicately about them...
