Hi David:
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.
Are you familiar with the Eisenhower Dollar Peac*ock hoard? These coins appeared in two separate batches, first in the late 80s and later in the early 90s, and for the most part were sold first through a dealer in Salt Lake City. The coins are beautiful with gold or green/gold centers, and magnificent rim rainbow colors of red and violet. There are found in all types and dates of IKEs, mint-state and proof, silver and copper/nickel. Some commentors on these message boards have opinined that the coins at AT. Yet, both PCGS and NGC readily certify them. If you are familiar with these, can you explain how you came to the decision that the toning is indeed natural. Do you have a view as to how this toning arose? Finally do you have any information as to the original source of these coins? The dealer in Salt Lake City doesn't generally provide any information on the source, except to say that he purchased them from a local customer.
Thank you for any information you can share.
Cheers
Greg
