This guy has been selling fake Trade Dollars, etc. on Ebay for some time now. This one takes the cake.

It is obviously a fake. The stars on a Trade Dollar are on the obverse

a common counterfeit/fantasy piece. believe it or not, they are popular in certain circles. i personally do not own 1, although i've examined a couple - they are pot metal, no silver content.

well you really can't do anything since there not saying its real and its quite obvious when the coin is being sold for ten bucks.

It looks like an ASE with an altered date, i think it's kinda cool if i had the money i'd buy it.

It doesn't look like any Morgan I've ever seen. Looks like a dirty SAE "slighty modified".
