Cool Coin Club find w/help from my Breen's

I've taken to lugging my Breen's Encyclopedia to club meetings and other auctions to help sort things out and I made a nice find today. There was an 1851 large cent that I noted on my club letter to check for 1851/81 and it turned out to be a nice VF with clear diagnostics for the overdate. The coin is a nice even chocolate brown on the obverse with red in the hidden recesses and the reverse is even more red throughout. Not a big dollar coin, but nice to find. And I paid the princely sum of $11 with only one other bidder who quit early.
